The wind blows and hail storms

Are drenching these old clothes

I’m frozen and failing to see

Why everyone’s out

Just to knock you and hurt you

I’m aching from just trying to be

Will you guard me?

My faith has been fractured

By outlaws and actors

And others who’ve passed through my door

I’m hoping what’s broken

Can someday be mended

I’m open to offers or cures
