Kalt weht der Wind

Und nass ist dein Grab

An dem ich früher soviel Zeit

Verbracht hab'

Dort unten bei den Fischen

Den steinigen Grund

Küsst für alle Ewigkeit

Dein fleischloser Mund

Alles ist genauso

Wie vor einem Jahr

Heute ist dein Todestag

Als ich dich hin den Fluten gab

Nun steh' ich stumm am wassergrab

Und starre auf den See hinaus

Am Ufer ist ein Eichensteg

Er führt mich hin zum Ruderboot

Des See’es Mitte sei mein Weg

Dort wo dein Körper ruht

Kalt weht der Wind

Und nimmt mich bei der Hand

Jeder Schlag der Ruder

Führt mich tiefer in die Nacht

Von uns’rer Fahrt vor einem Jahr

Kehrte nur ich zurück

Du bliebst für immer dort im See

Ich brach dir das Genick…

Dann versank der Körper

Den ich noch liebte, kurz zuvor

Doch der mich hat so schwer enttäuscht

Das ich ihm blutig' Rache schwor

Jetzt habe ich mein Ziel erreicht

Lass mich ins Wasser gleiten

Ein Weilchen noch will ich hier treiben

Dann zieht es mich hinab

Feuchtigkeit füllt meine Lunge

Ich sinke ab zum Grund

Doch ehe mich der Tod ereilt

Such' ich nach deinem Mund

Dann endlich ist die Luft verbraucht

Ich ruhe neben dir

Schmieg mich an deine Knochen an

Im Kaltwasserrevier…
