Упала ночь на сонный город

Споткнувшись об ветки метро

О купол церкви бок вспорола

И полумесяцем ребро

Торчит и сыпится из раны

Осиротевших брызг каскад,

Но нам с земли не видно драмы

Мы видим только звездопад

Тяжелым вздохом стелется туман

По переулкам, по пустым дворам

Однажды мы споткнемся так же

Как строки о поля страниц

Свинец несбывшихся надежд

Сокрыв за легкостью ресниц

Night fell on the sleepy city

Tripping over subway lines

About the dome of the church ripped open the side

And crescent rib

Sticks out and pours out of the wound

Orphaned spray cascade,

But we can't see the drama from the ground

We see only starfall

The fog rolls in with a heavy sigh

Through the lanes, through the empty yards

One day we'll stumble the same way

Like lines about page margins

Lead of unfulfilled hopes

Hiding behind the lightness of eyelashes
