I don’t know why I thought of her after all of these years

Could it be she’s alone or is she even still here

Is she somewhere remembering or does she remember at all

I think I’ll find me a dime and give my old memory a call

Don’t know why I believe she’d have reason to think about me

But there was one night when we built a fire

The whole world could see

Am I all by myself in thinking it mattered at all
