Wake up in a rage within/

Race to the bathroom/ crazed again

Turn the tap on splash my face and then

Hit the sack with a pack of Temazepam

Deep in the black pits of darkness

Demons attack my subconscious

So I breathe in relax and be calm

But I can’t even do that cuz I’m haunted

Too scared to fall back asleep so

I called Charlie rack up and reload

Took a brisk walk to lap up the breeze

In no time I went from jacked up to deep hole

Stay awake don’t fade away

Keep an eyelid raised til the day’s ablaze

Even if each eyelid weighs a kg

Blink and they feel like razor blades

I can’t take more nightmares like this

When the light wears thin and the night hits

I’m blinded with no life inside

So terrified with no might to fight this

More pain as I’m breathing in

Like a knife in my chest that’s seeping in

I’m gonna lay down under the rain outside

And never dream again
