Casualties lining my wake

I bleed every day from what these hands have done

I watch the moon turning red with blood on my hands

The nightmare took over my life

I stood over two bodies ripped from me I’ll never be the same

Living a life on the run

I stopped breathing onc before

I bled out across th floor

Trying to take some control

Of a life lost in the war

I did again each day from what these hands have done
