Denn Unerreichbar scheint, was einmal war so nah

Der Tanz in unserer Asche

Jedoch bietet das Morgen stets Zuversicht

Denn Unbekanntes dient dem Quell der Hoffnung

Und so bleibt schwach glimmendes Licht die treibende Kraft

Zeiten des Banges gelten als Zeiten des Leidens

Mein Königreich ist zerfallen und der Thron schon längst gestürzt

Drum halte ich den Atem, lasse los, lasse ab von dir

Der Wunsch jedoch, es sei nur ein Traum

Die Tage haben mich anderes gelehrt

Bleiben wir doch immer nur Sklaven der Zeit

Times of trepidation count as times of suffering

My kingdom fell apart and the throne fell long ago

That's why I hold my breath, let go, let go of you

The wish, however, that it was only a dream

The days have taught me otherwise

We always remain slaves of time

Screams and words fade into silence

So snatch your hand from mine
