Des photos comme des coups de sonde

Des villages d’eau claire

Et la beauté des nuits profondes

La langue sous la pierre

Le lait blanc dans l'étable sombre

Tu pourras dire plus tard:

«J'aurais connu la fin d’un monde»

En attendant plus tard

Occupe toi des prochaines secondes

You will have seen the end of a world

In the back of a cupboard

Photos like soundings

Villages of clear water

And the beauty of deep nights

The tongue under the stone

The white milk in the dark barn

You can say later:

"I would have known the end of a world"

Waiting for later
