Mir is' das sehr wichtig, so wichtig, es fickt mich

Oder ausgenutzt im Wehleid und Furcht gehabt

Sind wir nur da, wenn es 'n Nutzen für uns gibt

Und wenn ja, sag' mir, wussten wir es nich'?

Ham wir geglaubt, wir wär'n selbst was wie ein Gott?

Aber sind dann Tag für Tag ganz alleine in unser’m Kopf

Wir könn'n nich' wissen, was ein anderer von uns glaubt

Dafür gibt es kei’n Vertrag, nur 'n Wisch namens Vertrau’n

Den wir manchmal unterschreiben, völlig blind und kinderleicht

Und wir hoffen das reicht und man uns zeigt:

Are we only there when there's a use for us

And if so, tell me, didn't we know?

Did we think we were something like a god ourselves?

But then, day after day, we're all alone in our heads

We can't know what another one of us believes

There's no contract for that, just a smudge called trust

Which we sometimes sign, completely blind and as easy as pie

And we hope that's enough and you show us:

We are not alone!
