Ты в сумерках смотришь на мокрый асфальт

И, забыв о дожде, отключившись на миг,

Замечаешь лишь блеск разноцветных огней,

Превращающий лужи в волшебный родник.

Лучезарный всплеск и безумных витрин,

Как в запретных мечтах, бросит вызов судьбе,

Сквозь себя пропускаю потоки машин,

Разрушая сознание мне и тебе.

Я люблю этот город хоть он так жесток,

Его мир был подарен с рождения мне.

Средь огромной толпы я здесь был одинок,

И пускай он не тот, каким вижу во сне.

Город!

Я пропитан тобою насквозь.

Даже если с тобою врозь,

Ты всегда у меня внутри.

Город!

В моих венах твои грехи,

В ночь ушедших твоих стихи,

Постаревшие фонари.

Я люблю этот город, таким как он есть,

Его зверский оскал мне до боли знаком,

Повесть улиц его за всю жизнь не прочесть,

Для меня его сущность открылась в другом.

В глубине дивных парков и в клубах ночных,

На огромных проспектах, затертых до дыр,

В дебрях спальных районов, как в джунглях глухих.

В этом городе есть свой особенный мир,

Праздник музыки вечно: и ночью, и днем,

Посторонняя жизнь не доходит сюда.

Мы с тобою давно в этом мире живем,

А кому-то в него не попасть никогда.

Город!

Я пропитан тобою насквозь.

Даже если с тобою врозь,

Ты всегда у меня внутри.

Город!

В ночь ушедших твоих стихи,

Постаревшие фонари.

Слева и справа город поет,

Эти звуки по праву ловит народ,

Пора тебе услышать тоже,

Головой и кожей

Их переварить и в ритме города полный вперед.

Немного дудок, немного баса,

Я не могу прожить без музыки и часа,

Я спать ложусь и просыпаюсь с этой песней,

Намного интересней быть с тобою вместе.

Город!

You look at the wet asphalt at dusk
