I never was late, you could rest assured

I’d never need a reminder

But everyday was made to wait

For errant knaves and reprobates

Such was assigned as my fate

Faithfully I would prepare my works

To prove God’s wrath was undeserved

But all the while the one defiled

By purity, by sinners reviled

Subject to their guile

Justice is what I seek

I judge the ones in debt to me

They stole my soul, these wanton thieves

Now dole my foes their penalty

The beauty I have was a gift from birth

The cornerstone of all my worth

Arrogant, narcissistic by critics unbound
