ICE nach Düsseldorf - Die Toten Hosen

Der Tod schaut durch mein Fenster und lacht mich an,

ich hoffe, dass er noch ein bisschen warten kann.

Man weiß ja nie genau, vor allem nicht wann und wo.

Man muss ihn nehmen, wie er kommt, wenn er uns abholt.

Ein letzten Wunsch hab ich noch frei:

ein Fensterplatz im Zugabteil!

Ich hab 'n Platz reserviert auf dem Südfriedhof,

mein erster fester Wohnsitz, freu mich richtig drauf.

Zweite Reihe, feine Lage, meist Sonnenschein,

festes Dach überm Kopf, es regnet selten rein.

Auf meiner Reise in die letzte Nacht

my first permanent residence, I'm really looking forward to it.
