Themenläden - Die Sterne

Ein kleiner Floh hüpft durch sein Großhirn

und schaut sich endlich selber zu.

Ich kann das aber nicht aushalten,

denkt er sich so.

Was hat sich verändert in all dieser Zeit und wo?

War ich dabei überhaupt,

oder habe ich nur zugeschaut

und bemerkt, wie beschäftigt ich war?

Machen wir’s kurz:

da hilft auch kein Selbstfindungskurs mehr —

nach dem Vergessen.

All diese Jahre.

Mit manchen von ihnen hast du geschlafen,

mit anderen nicht,

ab und zu hast Du gedacht es ist auch ganz gut,

daß das passiert, was passiert ist:

Selbstbetrug.

Immer hat sich irgendwas ergeben,

und es gab immer genug zu bereden.

Es gibt Themen genug in deinem eigenem Leben,

und wenn sie einmal ausgehen, gibt es Themenläden.

Hält dich das aus, was dich aufhält

gehörst du dazu und wie hältst du das aus?

Zwischendurch, der Beschluß,

wir sind doch eigentlich ganz froh,

doch dann schaust du raus und erkennst:

die Verhältnisse, die sind nicht so.

Vielleicht bist du aber auch ganz gut darin,

das nicht zu bemerken.

Fließt da überhaupt noch Blut in deine Füße,

in deinen kindischen Gerechtigkeitssinn.

Immer Schwierigkeiten,

immer gerade so zu schaffen,

und so macht man sich auf Dauer 'halt zum Schwierigkeitenaffen,

trifft befreundete Primaten in den Kneipen und im Garten —

wartend auf die große Sause.

Oder einfach nur oder besser noch,

die große Pause.

Hält dich das aus, was dich aufhält

gehörst du dazu und wie hältst du das aus?

What has changed in all this time and where?

Was I there at all?

Or was I just watching

and noticed how busy I was?

Let's make it short:

there's no self-discovery course any more —

after forgetting.

all these years

You slept with some of them

with others not

from time to time you thought it was also quite good

that what happened happens:

self-deception.

Something always turned up

and there was always enough to talk about.

There are issues enough in your own life

and once they go out there are themed shops.

Endure what's holding you back

do you belong to it and how do you stand it?

In the meantime, the decision

we are actually quite happy

but then you look outside and realize:

the circumstances are not like that.

Or maybe you're quite good at it,

not to notice that.

Is there any blood still flowing into your feet?

in your childish sense of justice.

Always trouble

always just about to create

and so you make yourself a trouble monkey in the long run,

meets friendly primates in the pubs and in the garden —

waiting for the big break.

Or just or better yet,

the big break.

Endure what's holding you back

do you belong to it and how do you stand it?
