I don’t know if it was a gap year or a gap life

But there wasn’t much going on between Channel 2 and Channel 9

So I went back to the beginning without rising from my seat

And wondered about everything that happened to me

Watching all the days drive by in their slow cars

Would I get my bond back, baby, if I drove away from here?

I turn my lemons into slices and I put them in my beer
