Have you ever been hanging on clouds?

Consumed by the life you chose

As the sun burns your thoughts away

Did the rain ever wash the scars you can’t erase?

When you’re stuck at a crossroad

Second-guessing this way of life

With only the moon as your watchful eye

These woods are lovely

They are so blurry and deep

Red eyes wide open

The trees are speaking to me

As I try to find a trace of stability

Echoes are flowing through the wind

And I feel that my own old perspectives were getting astray

Going astray as the fire inside of me was cast away

I walked through the valley of the damned

Stepping stones and crushing bones

It was a lifetime before I found home

I’ve misconceived my dreams

Turned my goals into demise
