Existential mind

What does it mean to be alive

Pain is a lesson that I’ll never learn

Light me up and watch me burn

Anguish and misery will never overcome my soul

I see reality and now I pay its toll

All of my agony is all that I’ve ever know

I face this tragedy, but I don’t face it alone

Until my last ember dies

True transcendence

These silver hands push away the darkness

The tempest winds of a greater storm

Although the world may be so cruel and cold

My passion will keep me warm

Strength through perseverance

And wisdom through humility

The sun will rise again

And the light marks the my final moment has come

Tranquility will bless my soul

And I will ascend
