Da bambina avevo sogni grandi come

universi senza cielo e senza nomi,

e passavo le giornate a immaginare

come sarei mai riuscita a diventare.

Sono diventata grande a poco a poco,

ho capito che la vita non è un gioco.

Sono scivolata sopra i miei difetti

ma ho ricominciato sempre a denti stretti;

perchè col tempo ti rialzi sempre,

quando riparti non ti ferma niente

e dal dolore ne rinasci forte e cominci a crescere.

Siamo libere, libere, libere…

di riprendere il cammino,

di decidere il destino

e andarcene lontano.

Siamo libere di sorridere per vivere

e andiamo avanti per la nostra strada

ovunque il viaggio della nostra vita porterà…

Quanto male che ci fa l’indifferenza

di chi amore non è ha dato mai abbastanza,

non confondere l’inganno con il bene

di chi riempie la tua vita di catene.

Quante lacrime ha già visto questo viso

prima di mostrare a tutti il suo sorriso;
