Zomer gekomen, de tijd vliegt voorbij

Kinderen spelen, hier op het schoolplein

Ik sta even te dromen, doe even niet mee

Ik weet nog de dag, dat ik zo klein ben geweest

Op de laatste schooldag van het laatste jaar

Kun je de uren tellen en dan is het klaar

Knikkende knien, ogen doen pijn

Blij dat het regent, hier op het schoolplein

Juf staat te dromen, achter het raam
