Седьмая глава - ДДТ

Ты придёшь ко мне ровно в полночь, разбудишь мой спящий звонок

Ты скажешь мне: «Какая чудная ночь!», я отвечу: «Да, но я одинок».

И я заварю тебе свежий чай, и достану из бара вино,

И выключу свой телевизор, не успев досмотреть кино.

Мы будем говорить о прекрасных вещах, играть словами, как в бильярд

И ты построишь мне сотню воздушных замков и один большой зоопарк,

Но, увы, я знаю верить нельзя всем твоим этим словам

Они для тебя значат больше чем дело — и я решил это сам.

Ты скажешь, что жизнь — великая вещь и выдашь шёстерку за туз

И я сыграю тебе свой рок-н-рол и я тебе спою новый блюз,

И ты, конечно, похвалишь меня и я тебе в ответ улыбнусь.

Я знаю нам трудно понять друг друга, но ты вежлива и я невесёлый шут

И когда за окном забрезжит рассвет, я скажу: «Не пора ли нам спать?»

Я постелю себе на полу, а тебя уложу на кровать.

И вот наконец-то ты заснёшь, уняв предрассветную дрожь

Ты встанешь и улыбнёшся, как ангел и вонзишь мне в спину свой нож

И вытрешь с лезвия кровь, и ляжешь спать и во сне увидишь себя.

Утром я встану первый, приготовлю кофе и торт,

Поставлю трек и тебя разбудит бодрый, мажорный аккорд

И, выпив свой кофе ты куда-то уйдешь, махнув на прощание рукой,

А я отмою с паркета кровь и обрету свой душевный покой.

You will come to me exactly at midnight, wake up my sleeping call

You will tell me: "What a wonderful night!", I will answer: "Yes, but I am alone."

And I will make you fresh tea and get wine from the bar,

And I'll turn off my TV before I've finished watching the movie.

We will talk about wonderful things, play with words like billiards

And you will build me a hundred castles in the air and one big zoo,

But, alas, I know you can't believe all your words

They mean more to you than business - and I decided it myself.

You will say that life is a great thing and you will give out a six for an ace

And I'll play you my rock and roll and I'll sing you a new blues

And you, of course, will praise me and I will smile at you in return.

I know it's hard for us to understand each other, but you are polite and I'm a sad jester

And when dawn breaks outside the window, I will say: "Isn't it time for us to sleep?"

I will lay myself on the floor, and I will put you on the bed.

And finally you will fall asleep, calming the pre-dawn trembling

You stand up and smile like an angel and stick your knife in my back

And wipe the blood off the blade, and go to sleep and see yourself in a dream.

In the morning I'll get up first, make coffee and cake,

I'll put on a track and a peppy, major chord will wake you up

And, after drinking your coffee, you will go somewhere, waving goodbye,

And I will wash the blood from the parquet and find my peace of mind.
