No you’re not going to break me

I’ve been to hell and back

Now you’re not going to shape me

To fit on the grinder’s wheel

What animal does not feel

I walk the road I choose

I’ve nothing left to see

To find a place called freedom

And I know it’s out there

I hear their call and heed them

I struggle up the stair

Try to stop me if you dare

As I sleep I dream of another place

Where men are free, and live not in disgrace

When I awake in the cold light of the day

It’s time to leave, to find that better place

There beyond the horizon

Into the setting sun that’s where I’ll find them

Where a man is a man

Doesn’t bow to your hand
