Cammino a piedi scalzi nella sabbia

Inseguo senza scopo impronte di gabbiano

Separo pensieri con la mietitrebbia

Butto via la paglia e raccolgo il grano

Inumidisco il sale che mi vola sulle labbra

Prendo il vento come scusa e cammino piano

Tu poco distante riposi all’ombra

Con il cane a far la guardia lì vicino

Nonostante tutti i baci sulla schiena

Mi sembra ieri che mi conoscevi appena

Invece ieri è stato il giorno dei progetti

Cambiamo casa che tra un po' saremo stretti

Disegno cerchi con i sassi sulla superficie

Per pochi attimi sembrano acrobati

Ti guardo, mi guardi e sei felice

«ti riaccompagno a casa, dove abiti?»

Hai scritto il tuo indirizzo sui miei abiti

E questa sera lo diremo ai tuoi

Domani sera invece toccherà ai miei

Nella testa ho un «si cerca con urgenza»

«cercasi padre con dieci anni d’esperienza»

I walk barefoot in the sand

I chase gull footprints aimlessly

I separate thoughts with the combine

I throw away the straw and collect the wheat

I moisten the salt that flies on my lips

I take the wind as an excuse and walk slowly

Not far away you rest in the shade

With the dog standing guard nearby

Despite all the kisses on the back

It seems to me yesterday that you hardly knew me

Instead yesterday was the day of the projects

We move house that in a while we will be tight

I draw circles with stones on the surface

For a few moments they look like acrobats
