Und flieg hinaus durchs Abendrot

Hinein in eine geistige Welt

Von weither starrten sie mich an

Und starben dann wohl irgendwann

Doch immer noch kann ich sie vor mir sehen

All die tausend Lichterlein

Bleibt zeitverrückt am schwarzen Himmel stehen
