or would you rather go home?

we could eat some chocolate

we could drink from jars

you could get undressed or

stay there where you are

my place is so quiet

with the universe occupied

we could run through the ruins

we could suffer in sunlight

blackberries or cherries

i could give you puncture marks

we could play a game for infinite stakes

with a solid black deck of cards

we could pretend we’re insomniacs

who are covered in insect bites

i could take your photograph

and we could laugh when it’s washed white
