I’ve come up short in this wretched life

There’s never peace within my mind

My wits at end, my thoughts unsound

Stuck on the path that goes forever down

Trapped in a cycle that I can’t escape

Confined by chains I cannot break

Descending faster by the day

Facing death is certainty

Try to escape from my fate that’s been chosen

But at this rate I’ll be far from frozen
