kävelinkö turhaan ne kilometrit

jotka mielessäni teitäs vaelsin

ja odotinko tyhjää kun siltaa etsin

joka johtais yli kuilun syöverin

kuitenkin

tahdoin vapautta, kauneuden nälän

vaan löysin hallan kohmettaman maan

se välillämme aukee ja siihen eksyy

kun mielet koettaa sanoin kurkottaa

toisiaan

on sillanrakentaja levottomuus mielen

kun ikuisesti virtaa päivänvalo pois

on sillanrakentaja lumovoima kielen

ja sillan yli kulkee lupaus jos vain voi

— se on mahdoton

nyt päivänvalo haipuu, saa luvan kaipuu

se tähti joka kiertää tähteään

kun etsii kirkkautta

ja löytääkin vain öiden ikävää

did I walk those miles in vain

which in my mind I walked among you

and I waited empty when I looked for the bridge

which would lead to a gap of cancer

however

I wanted freedom, the hunger for beauty

but I found the land grieved with frost

it opens between us and gets lost in it

when the minds try the words to reach out

each other

is a bridge builder restlessness of mind

when daylight flows away forever

is a bridge builder with the enchantment of the tongue

and there is a promise over the bridge if you can

- It's impossible

now the daylight fades, longing for permission

the star that orbits its star

when seeking glory

and finds only the misery of the nights
