I’d be overjoyed to leave

Reckless modern waste

Skip into the leafy lands

Chant and hunt the boars

But there’s Prometheus

And then there’s me

There are those who’d find a way to make stone tools

And then there’s me

Gladly I would flee the world of blackest sin

Follow pious nuns to cloistered solitude

But there’s a reason they call that tiny room a cell

And in the gaze of the Almighty all my deeds

All my deeds lay bare
