Холод дорог, тени в ночи,

Где-то в лесу звенят мечи,

И зарево от пламени

Лязги клинков в немой глуши,

Звезд безразличные огни,

И солнце мертвых в небе

Но над тобой открыты врата:

Одна за другой летит душа,

Пылая в бликах света

Темнеет в глазах, и — в небеса,

И тело пустое ждет земля —

Тебе уже не важно

Твой путь, неповторимый и чужой,

Боли и веры…

Но здесь мир начинается иной:

Вот она, дверь

И волны несут тебя в небеса,

К сиянию звезд по кромке льда,

Разорвана нить, воскресла душа твоя!

Несется тропа, шальная стрела,

К далеким мирам ведет она,

Но вечен твой путь,

Назад не вернуть…

Мелькают Миры, тают века,

И за тобой скрипят врата,

Ты снова у порога

Твой первый плач, душа чиста,

Вновь колыбель и вновь заря —

Опять ты у истока

Твой путь, неповторимый и чужой,

Боли и веры…

Но здесь мир начинается иной:

Вот она, дверь

И волны несут тебя в небеса,

К сиянию звезд по кромке льда,

Разорвана нить, воскресла душа твоя!

Несется тропа, шальная стрела,

Года, как секунды — вникуда,

Но вечен твой путь,

Назад не вернуть…
