Пепел летит,

Тенью закрыл глаза,

Пепел хранит

Все, что забыть нельзя

В цепи простых событий,

И только ночь услышит крик мой,

Горький как пепел…

На призрачном пути

Рука хватает воздух,

И рвать судьбу на части поздно:

Есть только страх, что больше не найти

Найти короткий путь

Сквозь пропасть между нами,

Нас грело страсти злое пламя —

Сгореть дотла и душу не вернуть…

Видеть и верить снегу иль пеплу?

Тьме или свету?

Тьмы или света ждать?

И только ляжет на виски пепел,

Станет мне бичом ветер,

Память обожжет плетью,

Душу оплетет сетью ночь…

А время не догнать —

Равняет век с секундой,

Летать с тобой мне было трудно,

А без тебя я не могу дышать…

Видеть и верить снегу иль пеплу?

Тьме или свету?
