When first we touch

Source of all I see

Time arranged this dance for me

I’m shaken at first

Am I not really free?

Stepping o’er the waters

The hungry I will feed

But I am safer now in

The hands of God

Than in the fists of man

While people are staring

Tempers are flaring

Sharing the daring

Their fears have unleashed

My platform is falling

The hangmen are calling

With my death they’ll all sing

While praising their king

As I walk I feel
