Ладья огнём объята,

Несётся по волнам,

Спешит в страну Заката,

Последнюю из стран

Ты заклинала Землю,

Огонь, ручьи, ковыль.

От ран и бед хранить меня,

Когда я рядом был!

Помни меня,

Встречай меня!

Сойду я с Неба

По ступеням в ночь…

Но жизнь скучна, когда

Нет сражений и побед.

В набегах и пирах

Мой потерялся след.

Стрелою из омелы

Сразил меня враг мой.

Ты ей хвалу не пела,

Колдуя надо мной!

The boat is engulfed in fire,

Rushing through the waves

Hurries to the Land of Sunset,

The last of the countries

You conjured the Earth

Fire, streams, feather grass.

Keep me from wounds and troubles,

Meet me!

I will descend from Heaven

Down the steps into the night...

But life is boring when

There are no battles and victories.

In raids and feasts

My track is lost.
