Fragile now

I’m coming down

The weight in there is almost free

Hold on tight

To what I’ve found

Won’t take less than what I need

There’s no easy way to satisfy hunger,

Rather starve than have to ask for help

Who am I to want to try and be a saviour?

When I’m just as lost as everybody else

All the old days have gone away

Like Mercury, they rise and fall in yesterday

All the new days are wet and grey

Waiting on the colours of mistakes that have yet to be made

Done my time

In the firing line

Of painful doubt and heavy hearts

Burnt my soul

On the stake of the world

But it still couldn’t take me apart
