Seul devant cette étendue d’eau

Le vacarme des vagues au loin

J’observe ces matelots

Qui dirigent un bateau avec soin

Cependant une seule seconde

Suffit pour effacer toute trace de vie

La force de cet élément n’a aucun équivalent

Ténébreux sont les nuages

Sombre est l’océan

Et les cris des innocents

Sont cachés

Par le son du tonnerre

Alone in front of this expanse of water

The din of the waves in the distance

I observe these sailors

Who steer a boat with care

But a single second

Enough to erase all traces of life

The strength of this element has no equivalent

Dark are the clouds

Dark is the ocean

And the cries of the innocent

are hidden

By the sound of thunder
