Death Bed - C-Mob

I’m layin' in my death bed, shot up and decrepit

My body’s turnin' cold, and soon my soul will be rested

I’m layin' here hooked up to all these tubes and wires

And plus I’m internally bleedin', my body’s bruised and tired

I know that sooner or later for good my eyes will close

The bullets were so hot, they cauterized the hole

I used to have nightmares, of getting shot in the chest, the wounds were right

there, I should’ve gotten a vest

Now pretty soon time will slowly be rotting my flesh

I never knew so many people were applauding my death.

but now I know because

they finally caught me off in the club

All i remember is hearing shots, and then I’m coughing up blood

Saw people runnin' and screamin' and then the ambulance came

They hooked me up to IV’s to try to manage the pain

Fadin' in and out, losing consciousness and vision

I looked up at one point and saw the doctor makin' incisions, was pulling out

ammunition

And my body started twitchin', was goin into shock, Ain’t in a stable condition,

Doctors and Nurses were frantically trying to bring me back, and then I faded

out again and everything was black

My whole entire life flashed before my eyes, I thought of everything I want to

do before I die

I woke up, surrounded by all my little sisters and brothers, I turned my head

and standin' right beside me was my mother, I told em all «don't worry,

just fight the fear» I tried to reach for my Momma so I could wipe her tears,

my eyes watery lookin' like I’m about to cry, cause I can tell they all know

I’m about to die

Will I rise up with the angles, or will i be thrown down to the demons

I realize I’m about to die, try to get up and start screamin', «Somebody bring me my son, he needs to see his daddy»

Somethin' inside of me ruptures, I start to bleed so badly, the doctors all

rush in, they tell my family to leave, I’m chokin' on my own blood It’s gettin'

harder to breathe

Doctors are strugglin' to save me, they’re tellin' me to fight

My eyes are rollin' in my head, I’m starting to see the light

I clench my chest, where my heart is, it feels like my shit tears

Make room up in heaven, It’s goin' be hell when I get there…
