Andre Papas werden morgens nicht geweckt von Polizisten

Andre Papas werden nicht genervt von Fotoblitzen

Doch weil Papa in sein’n Liedern böse Sachen sagt

Denkt die ganze Nachbarschaft, dass er auch böse Sachen macht

Aber Papa sagt die Sachen, die er sagt

Nur damit er nicht mehr tun muss, was Papa früher tat

Papa hatte keine Wahl, nahm sich alles auf die falsche Art

Ich war auf mich allein gestellt, als ich in eurem Alter war

Bevor man mich für die Geschichten ins Gefängnis steckt

Die Antwort, wenn ihr Mama fragt, warum Papa im Fernseh’n ist

Weshalb er oft verreist und mit den Onkels in den Flieger steigt

Wichtig ist nur, dass ihr wisst: ich komme wieder heim!

Papa wird von viel’n geliebt, Papa wird von viel’n gehasst

Weil alle woll’n, was Papa hat, doch keiner es von ihnen schafft

Und Papa ärgern ist, was sie zufrieden macht

Sie wollten uns schon alles nehm’n, sogar euren Kitaplatz

Alle unsre Autos, die Computer, unser Haus und Garten

Deshalb müsst ihr, wenn die Polizei kommt, immer draußen warten

Sie woll’n bestimmen über richtig und falsch

Doch die Welt, aus der euer Papa berichtet, ist kalt

Und Lügen ist auch, wenn man schweigt, obwohl man die Wahrheit kennt

Was zählt, seid ihr, egal, was irgendwer von eurem Vater denkt
