Care cu-a lor creste sprijină cerul

Și-a lor codri neumblați —

Tainic leagăn unde ne-am născut

Drum care suie — în munți cărăruie

Drum ce aleargă, sub brazi și prin iarbă

Dus în sus, spre Soare-apus

Ce urcă pieptiș, in Mestecăniș

În cețuri ascuns și-ades nepătruns

Din vale, din râpă spre vârful în pâclă

Spre Miazăzi, drum cu stihii

Ce fuge pieziș, in Mestecăniș

Mestecăniș, de strajă-n inima Bucovinei

Mestecăniș, din vremuri de demult

Mestecăniș, acum vin către tine

Mestecăniș, chemarea ta eu o aud!

Trunchi prăvălit, de vreme scobit

În drum astrucat, de ape cărat

Te-oprește din cale la Soare-răsare

Zăbavă-n desiș, in Mestecăniș

Un drum cu năluci pe care s-apuci

În munte s-ajungi, în neguri adânci

Departe-departe, la Miază-noapte

Drumuri-cruciș… în Mestecănis
