I keep dreaming about a better off tomorrow

But time is relative and it’s something that we cannot up and borrow

And so I think about today and try to make it last

Appreciate and reminisce but without living in the past

Look I know that life ain’t always roses

Everybody tell you grin and bear it positively focus it’s bogus

It ain’t all that easy just to be yaself

Hopeless in a world if you don’t think like someone else

Let’s make the globe stop spinnin

Press the reset button take it back to the beginning

Spark a bowl with God I swear and I don’t even smoke

But I think that we can agree the universe could use a toke

Lean back look up at the stars and reimagine

If we made some changes just imagine what could happen

One life one journey one love

Hell is all that’s waiting if we never rise above

Here’s another chance so let the day go by

The reaper’s taken almost everything I’m probably next

I done had my share of tragedy just check the source

If unhappy endings is my ending then I’m right on course

Sometimes I think that I’d be better off a ghost

Inject me full of hopelessness until I overdose

But then I feel eyes my kids and then I realize

That they’re the real prize uncertainty the real lie

I don’t have all of the answers but with this I’m certain
