An ageing kind of hipster with a hatful of halos

And a day of judgement trumpet

Chasing signal to noise, keeping bees in my bonnet

Maybe you’ll let me know, if I stumble upon it

You know the demon’s name changes day to day such a flexible opponent

So pull yourself together, or God will get you, It’s an atom-splitting moment

This perpetual boy still plays for time, in Peter pan fashion

In search of grace and the common place of every day compassion
