I sit and day dream

this world in misery

I can see now

A new vision

came to my attention

I see a lot of misery

and no affection

these poor kids

living life hard

when they should be playing around

not worrying ‘bout life’s scar

just look at these tears

and pure struggle

pure as gold and its told

about the trouble

receive what

theres no hand to see

but when theres talking

someones gotta bleed

a lot of fist in line

to give a touch

but whatever happen

to giving love

so much sorrow

in this world of ours

theres no slacking clips packing

people jacking cars

gun play where I stay

and whos to say

anybody walking

in a second can get sprayed

when life starts

another life ends

can we stop it shit that one can be a friend

it was for a cent

this hatred in this world

don’t ever make sense

purse snatchers

trying to get a bill

and for what so he can get some liquor

and an ounce of kill

Thunder starts

its pouring rain

God tears and he fears

of all the pain

when will it stop

it’s a mystery to all of us

I feel we shouldn’t

have to be scared getting on a bus

and God’s willing to listen

if you speak

but some ignore it and just shoot up streets

and its true

just open your eyes

theres a lot of victims

that shouldn’t of died
