Und trotzdem war ich froh bis ich irgendwann erfuhr

Dass das meiste Blut, dass floss, aus verwandten Venen fuhr

2005, seit achtzehn Jahren im Land

Mit dem man Wohlstand und Seelenfrieden verband

Doch was ist dran an der Sage des erfüllten Glücks

21 Jahre und davon die Hälfte auf Krücken

Vor einem Jahr glaubt ich nicht mal an den Geburtstag

Mit dreißig Kerzen auf dem Kuchen wohl eher ans Grab

Doch och rettete mich selbst, der größte Feind ist tot

Doch ich muss immer noch kämpfen, nur für Wasser und Brot

21 years old and half of them on crutches
