Wir steh’n in diesem Regen, tief in der Gegend, verwurzelt, sehe Gees sogar

beten

Wir stürzen ab und verlieren die Selbstachtung, denn die Welt hasst uns

Diese Last, die wir tragen, sie bremst uns, zu lang gekämpft und

Für so manchen in diesem Bezirk, war das Leben verwirkt und so diente die Kugel

als Rettung

Sprung in den Tod, wenn der Zug wieder kommt, Mütter am Grab suchen nach Gott

Schicksal, das zuschlägt und die Kids auf dem Schulweg seh’n wieder mal Blut

auf Beton;

Weil der Regen uns durchdreh’n lässt, die Seele wird von der Wut zerfetzt

Handeln blind wie Soldaten, sprachlos, denn was willst du sagen,

wenn Brüder die Kinder begraben?

Zu viele Narben im Herzen, ertragen die Schmerzen

Und denken so oft drüber nach, ist die Hoffnung noch da, für was kämpfen wir?

Ob’s diese Schatten hier wert sind?!

(Regen) die Tropfen wie Säure, brennen sich ein, wie im Kopf dieser Teufel

Und so viele hier fall’n, denn die Welt lässt sie wieder vergessen,

was Hoffnung bedeutet

Würden gerne raus hier, es geht nicht, schau’n aus dem Käfig;

Und fragen uns, wo ist das Glück, woll’n die Farben zurück, denn diese sind

doch da draußen alltäglich

Und so viele hier reden von Ausbruch, bei seiner Ausführung scheitern sie

kläglich

Offen bleibt eine Frage, wann geh' ich, du verstehst nicht, dann red nicht

Wir stehen im Regen, bis alles vorbei ist und uns letztendlich das Leben frisst

Und du nur hoffst, dass all der Aufwand nicht vergebens ist

Fühlst dich nicht frei, weil du gefesselt von den Regeln bist

Durchrenne Mauern, ich will leben

Ich will leben, nicht träumen, doch kann nicht die Schäden verleugnen

Die der Regen uns zufügt, Bluthund, reißt unsre Herzen, wie lebende Beute

Was der Nebel bedeutet, der Engel am Boden, im Dunst steht daneben der Teufel

Und im Schutze des Schattens bewegt er sich leise, beseitigt dann jegliche

Zeugen

Gehen in die falsche Richtung, doch fehlt uns das Wissen, den Verlauf des Weges

zu deuten

Guck, wir legen uns selber in Ketten, uns ist es egal, doch die Seele bereut es

Und ich sag' es nochmal, nein, wir sind nicht perfekt und wir könn' unsre Taten

nicht leugnen;

Doch die meisten hier suchen den Frieden und scheitern, weil nur diese Schatten

uns treu sind

Wir stehen im Regen, bis alles vorbei ist und uns letztendlich das Leben frisst

Und du nur hoffst, dass all der Aufwand nicht vergebens ist

Fühlst dich nicht frei, weil du gefesselt von den Regeln bist
