Almost dancing with bare feet

We felt no pain, no heat

How beautiful

Refined and free

You were dancing with snakes in your hands

Put your head back, eyes rolled inwards

What on earth was I thinking?

Nothing’s gonna hurt me

Now that my body’s numb from pain

I could face Goliath without flinching
