Útlit svart

Kaldara í dag en í gær

Læðist að mér grunur sá

Að vonin færist fjær

Ég óttast að ég dróma fái ekki leyst

Lífið er sýki og ég að drukkna

Sökkvandi virkið undan lætur

Í hálmstráið held ég

Og veröld mín grætur

En senn kemur nátt

Lífið sem lék mig svo grátt

Von eftir gef

Og legg aftur augun

Svefninum langa sef
