I’m rather calm

But sometimes

My anguish takes me far away

Dreamer, heartly

My memory is not so sane

Thoughtful, tolerant

The enemy is not outside

Sensitive, angry

The enemy’s not by my side

Anxious, proud

My enemy is there inside

Spiteful, curious

In another time I would have been burnt

Joyfull?

Happy?

Even today I’m not so sure

Darkly, darkly, all the sins in me

Are sleeping in the web of my brain

Slowly, slowly, all the dark in me

Is creeping over all my roots and veins

Sadly, sadly my uncontrolled sap

Time after time, it goes back and forth

Relentlessly, looking for my map

I try every state for what it’s worth
