Волчья доля - Аскер Седой

Вспоминаю, когда-то…лет 20 назад…

Пацаном бегал я в городской зоопарк

Черным хлебом набил до отказа карман

Мне казалось, что звери голодные там

И сажают туда на пожизненный срок,

Но из всех тех зверей мне запомнился волк

Он в онючем вольере бродил взад- вперед

И с тоской беспредельной смотрел на народ

Волчья доля- на воле, на воле кудить

Волчья доля в неволе, в неволе быть

Легче наверно по венам отраву пустить

Или вот так взад-вперед по вольеру бродить…

Я тогда удивлялся, не в силах понять

Почему волк не может на месте стоять

Почему черный хлеб, что я в клетку кидал

Он не ел, а лишь только смотрел и рычал

С той поры исходил я немало дорог

И судьба привела на тюремный порог

И когда на прогулку выводят гулять

Не могу точно волк тот на месте стоять

Легче наверно по венам отраву пустить

Или вот так взад-вперед по вольеру бродить

Сверху клетка стальная, а небо над ней

Иногда пролетает надо мной воробей

Не выйти мне отсюда смотри-не смотри

Я попал в зоопарк, и уже изнутри…
