Colours in the morning

Sunshine on the awning

It comes without warning

And I still feel like yawning

But if I could just hold on to the dream

I could keep the feeling

A leaky roof, a door that’s jammed

A dusty shelf, the food stuck to the pan

The broken clock, the moldy shelf

The car won’t start, there’s a fire in the chimney

There’s a fire in the chimney

Keep it light

Try to write it down
