Остывшая зола шептала пеплу звезд,

Что тот, кто был и прошел здесь до меня,

Устал от сладких грез.

Пусть ночь грозой взорвется

И небо разобьется тысячью частей.

Пусть время истекает, и вместе с ним сгорает

Новый день!

В час затмения услышишь голос:

«Ты один останешься

И с надеждой на спасение

Навсегда расстанешься!»

Мир покачнулся на весах судьбы,

Сжигаемый агонией.

И прочертил огонь из пустоты

Дорогу в Пандемониум!

Свет!

Крик!

Выстрел из темноты!

И черных крыльев взмах…

Лишь миг…

Из суеты

Мир, словно камень, брошен вниз с высоты…

«Встань на колени и молись, —

Слова мессии грозного,

— И от земных пороков отрекись

Клеймом распятья Господа!»

В час затмения услышишь голос:

«Ты один останешься

И с надеждой на спасение

Навсегда расстанешься!»

Ты не хотел искать свой путь души,

Сжигаемый агонией.

И вот теперь перед тобой лежит

Дорога в Пандемониум!

Холодный блеск комет

Проходит за порог.

«Покайтесь люди перед лицом судьбы!»

Истина одна!

Нет Ада и нет Рая —
