Come un’onda che

Scompiglia il volo alto

Dei gabbiani, che dal mare

Lungo il fiume, cercano la città

E i tuoi capelli spettinati

Al vento di marzo

I platani si piegano e

Le foglie un mulinello

E c'è freddo alla tua pelle

Tra la seta del vestito

E le mie braccia intorno a Te

Ma se guardi più lontano

C'è la casa che sta

Lungo il Tevere

Ed al tramonto i vetri sono rossi

Sono specchi alle cupole d’oro

Mentre sfavilla il Sole

Splende l’oro
