Зачем воздвигли храм и посадили парк?

Зачем любили всех и оборвали смех?

Отдали нежность злу и под свою метлу

Смели добра следы, оставив черный дым

Постой человек, к чему ты придешь,

Бездумно свой мир разоряя,

Сжимая в руках окровавленный нож,

Пожарами ночь озаряя.

Тут глупость верх взяла, но страха не сняла,

Отдав приказ идти и разрослась в пути.

Командный голос тих, но мыслей нет других.

И мы, разинув рты, идем сжигать мосты
