There’s something wrong with the world

Something wrong that defies mere words

None of the adjectives I know

Are adequate to show the pain

Love’s still in need of love today

I watch TV, I watch my street

But the peace in my backyard is bittersweet

I take responsibility

I contradict the things I see

Act locally, love globally

If each one teach one, that would be

More than enough for me
