На лавочке два зека,

Два лысых человека,

И говорят они -

О том - о сём.

Как плохо им живётся,

Как время чуть плетётся...

От жизни от такой

Хоть волком вой.

- Послушай, братец Жора,

С тобой мы - вояжёры

В фартовом городе

Владивосток.

Сюда на "стажировку"

Нас, прямиком с Петровки,

Пригнали очищать

От грязи док.

В порту мы как в загоне -

Батрачим, словно кони,

Благодаря тому,

Кто нас поймал.

За то, что я когда-то

Серёге дал лопатой,

А он меня -

Взял и заклал.

- Давай махнём к японцам,

Туда,

Где всходит солнце -

Забудем эту лагерную жизнь.

Щас подойдём к матросу,

Спросим папиросу,

Дадим ему меж глаз

И побежим!

Быть может, нам удастся

До корабля добраться -

Никто не будет страшен

Нам тогда.

А коли, не успеем,

То в бури и в метели

Опять скрипеть начнёт

Моя метла.

Всё вышло, как хотели:

До корабля успели.

Остался Жорке, лишь,

Последний шаг,

Но часовой на вышке -

Прицелился и... крышка -

Казалось, за границей

Свободен я, как птица,

Но капитан - япошка

Мне сказал,

Вот только Жору жалко -

Жизнь загубил бродяга,
